Description
The Pro-Ception Oligospermia Cup is a polyethylene AID or AIH insemination cup which is anatomically shaped to fit the cervix and maintain sperm in close proximity to the cervical os and canal. The device is available with or without an attached polyethylene hollow stem in the following eight sizes: 24 mm, 26 mm, 28 mm, 30 mm, 32 mm, 34 mm, 36 mm and 38 mm. The stem is used to introduce sperm by means of an accompanying syringe. Oligospermia Cups provide a simple, low cost, efficient means of ensuring maximum concentration of the seminal pool in the vicinity of the cervical os in homologous or heterologous insemination. They also ensure that the seminal fluid will be maintained in place for the necessary duration to increase the effectiveness of the insemination.
