The Quick-Core® Auto Biopsy Needle is a programmable automatic biopsy system used for soft tissue biopsy. Quick-Core Auto is a lightweight, precise, and reliable automated biopsy system that offers a spring-loaded action for quality sampling capability.

How Quick-Core® Auto Biopsy Needle and Needle Set Work

The soft tissue biopsy procedures can be performed in a variety of settings (breast centers, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers) by different types of physicians. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Common soft tissues biopsied include breast, lung, liver, kidney, etc.

The Quick-Core Auto needle is advanced towards the lesion in the soft tissue with or without a coaxial introducer. A delay, automatic or zero mode is used to fire the biopsy needle to obtain a sample.

Three Programmable Firing Modes

• Automatic Mode (‘A’ Button): Simultaneous release of the stylet and cutting cannula to obtain a tissue sample
• Delay Mode (‘D‘ Button): Releases stylet only and allows physicians to verify needle  position before releasing cutting cannula
• Zero Throw Mode: No forward throw of stylet. This mode offers precision and   control when sampling palpable lesions and reduces the risk of damaging deeper anatomical structures

The Quick-Core Auto Biopsy Needle has a 25mm throw length with a 20mm notch size. It is available in various configurations:
