Bugbee Electrode Ordering Checklist for Urology Teams

Use this checklist to prepare an item-specific request for Bugbee monopolar coagulating ball electrodes. The Bugbee collection is the main catalog; this page explains what to confirm before ordering. Minerva’s Bugbee ball electrodes are reusable and supplied nonsterile.

Identify the exact electrode

Record the model, Minerva ordering SKU, tip type, French diameter, labeled length, and quantity. Preserve model prefixes and suffixes rather than ordering from a partial part number. Ball electrodes and the separately listed needle electrodes should not be treated as interchangeable products.

Confirm the equipment configuration

Include the exact scope, cable, and electrosurgical generator models when compatibility requires review. Confirm the working-channel and connection requirements against the applicable manufacturer instructions. A common connector description, matching French size, or similar appearance should not substitute for that review.

Request this cable with the electrode unless the required reusable cable is already available at the facility.
